Overview

Service Overview

From project information to a measurable scope.

Tomy Engineering converts approved drawings, specifications, and other agreed inputs into quantities arranged for review, procurement planning, tender support, or project control.

Every output remains tied to its measurement basis, source revision, assumptions, and exclusions. This is a professional project service—not an automated pricing engine, BOQ editor, or tender marketplace.

What we produce

Deliverables

Quantity information built to be checked.

01

Detailed quantity takeoff

Measured quantities developed from the approved drawings, specifications, and agreed measurement basis.

02

Trade & work-package breakdowns

Quantities organized around the packages, trades, locations, or coding structure required by the project.

03

Structured bills of quantities

Clear item descriptions, units, quantities, and section structures prepared for review and project use.

04

Measurement schedules

Supporting worksheets and summaries that retain the relationship between measured items and their source information.

05

Assumptions & exclusions

Visible records of interpretations, allowances, omissions, and information limitations affecting the quantities.

06

Revision comparison

Quantity movement identified between agreed drawing or information revisions when comparison is included in scope.

Measurement structure

Measured Quantities

Measured, structured, and traceable. Defined plan areas move into an organized quantity record without losing their source or measurement basis.

Delivery process

Measurement Workflow

A controlled path from definition to issue.

  1. 01

    Define

Confirm scope, source information, measurement rules, coding, format, and issue requirements.

  2. 02

    Measure

Take off quantities against identifiable drawings, specifications, and model information where applicable.

  3. 03

    Structure

Organize measured items into the agreed trades, packages, sections, locations, or work breakdown.

  4. 04

    Check

Review units, coverage, references, duplicate risk, gaps, calculations, assumptions, and revision status.

  5. 05

    Issue

Release the BOQ and supporting records with a clear status, basis, revision, and list of limitations.

Optional commercial support

Optional Commercial Support

Extended when the project basis is ready.

Estimating and tender services are confirmed separately. Their reliability depends on the maturity of the design, defined scope, available market or project rates, procurement basis, and tender information.

A

Cost estimating

Rates, pricing, cost plans, or estimates can be prepared when the required commercial basis and reliable project information are provided.

B

Tender support

Tender quantity documentation, clarification records, and commercial comparisons can be supported when included in the commission.

Measurement control

Measurement Control

The basis stays visible beside the quantities.

  1. 01

Drawing, specification, model, and revision references

  2. 02

Consistent item descriptions, units, and measurement basis

  3. 03

Checks for duplicate quantities, gaps, and calculation errors

  4. 04

    Traceable assumptions, allowances, and exclusions

  5. 05

Change identification between agreed information revisions

  6. 06

Review status and independent checking where included
